Remembrance Day Sunday – 13 November Parade

leaves the Royal British Legion at 10:15 am – arriving at the War Memorial at 10:25am. (The High Street will be closed to traffic while the parade is in progress). Wreath laying ceremony then takes place. A short service by Reverend Bill Jackson followed by the 2 minute silence. The Parade then marches to St Peter’s Church for a Church service.

A salute will be taken by the President of the Royal British Legion – Bob Slater and the Chairman of the Council, Judith Foster, together with the Parish Councillors outside the Burnham Village Store at approximately 12:10.

The Parade will then march back to the Royal British Legion where Parade will be dismissed. Everyone welcome to join us at the Royal British Legion afterwards for light refreshments.
